Elen Vining ~ Harpist
Weddings

Photo: Bride & Groom The harp can be played at any combination of the three main parts of your wedding day. I can play as your guests arrive and leave the wedding ceremony, during the signing of the register and, of course, for the entrance and exit of the bride and groom. A popular choice is to combine this with the harp being moved to the drinks reception, to play in the background while your photographs are being taken. The final option is to also have the harp played during the wedding breakfast.

Whether it be a traditional wedding in a church or a civil ceremony in a castle, hotel or hall, the harp will help create a special ambience for your memorable day. The music you choose will become the soundtrack to your wedding day, so I can work with you to try and arrange pieces that are important to you even if they are not in my regular repertoire.

There are some suggestions for you to choose from on my repertoire page but this is only a small selection of the pieces I play. If you can’t see your favourite piece among them, then please ask as it may already be in my repertoire or it may be possible to arrange it especially for you.

"A little note to say a huge thank you for playing the harp so beautifully during our wedding ceremony. It was such a beautiful service and so many people commented on your beautiful playing. Thank you for helping to make our day so special."
David, wedding Mid Wales.
